Intervention Specialists
My name is Rachael Papa. I am an Intervention Specialist at Olmsted Falls Middle School. This year is my 9th year teaching. All of my years have been spent at Olmsted Falls Middle School. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Ohio University in Intervention Specialist Moderate-Intensive in 2007. I received my Master's Degree in Deaf Education in 2012 from Kent State University. Outside of school, I love to play volleyball and have a passion for working with animals. I have four dogs (Bailey, Zoe, Frankie, and Fawn) and I foster puppies on a regular basis. I also volunteer regularly for the Berea Animal Rescue Fund and am the volunteer coordinator for the dog building. I hold high expectations for every student I work with and strive to see each student become independent and advocate for his or her self. I look forward to working with your child this school year. My name is Stacie Ware. I am an Intervention Specialist at Olmsted Falls Middle School. This year is my 14th year teaching. I spent 3 years teaching in the state of Michigan and am starting my 11th year in Olmsted Falls. I received my Bachelor's Degree from Purdue University in 2001. When I'm not teaching, I keep busy with my three year old and enjoy running, cooking, reading, and spending time outside. My name is Rachel Thomas. I have been working in the field of special education for the past 8 years. Before coming to Olmsted Falls Middle School I worked at Summit Academy in Lorain, Ohio for eight years. I attended Baldwin-Wallace College for my Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and attended graduate classes at Cleveland State University for my K-12 mild/moderate licensure. I am married with 2 children. My daughter Lylah is 7 and my son Ian is 3. I live in Medina, Ohio. I enjoy spending time with my family and reading.

My name is Jessa Diaz. I am an Intervention Specialist at Olmsted Falls Middle School. This is my 1st year with Olmsted Falls City Schools, but my 2nd year teaching overall. Prior to receiving my teaching license I was a paraprofessional for three years. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Baldwin Wallace University in Sport Management with an Emphasis in Marketing in 2008. I received my Master’s Degree from Grand Canyon University in Special Education Mild/Moderate in 2014. Outside of the classroom I am also coaching in the district. I am the 8th grade volleyball coach and also the Varsity Assistant Girls’ Basketball Coach. I have also coached AAU basketball for 9 years for girls grades 7-12. I hold high expectations for each of my students and strive to see each student grow and become more independent while they are in my class. Paraprofessionals for the Resource Rooms
My name is Marie Uhl. I have been a paraprofessional in Olmsted Falls for 16 years. I primarily work with students with Miss Papa as a case manager. I find it very rewarding to work with students and help them to achieve their goals and gain greater independence. I live in Olmsted Falls with my husband, John, and Boston Terrier, Mya. We have three grown/married children; Mike, Stephanie, and Amanda, who all graduated from OFHS. We also have three grandchildren; Hallie, Julia, and Claire, with another due in March. In my free time, I enjoy boating, biking, and gardening; but mostly spending time with my granddaughters. I am excited for another great school year!
My name is Lisa Hyppa. I am a paraprofessional working primarily with students that have Miss. Papa as a case manager. I have been a resident of Olmsted Falls for 10 years ,living with my husband and three children who attend OFHS. I began my work with the schools as a substitute paraprofessional for four years while being a stay at home mom. I was offered a permanent position with OFCS in 2009. I love reading, music, being outdoors and traveling. I look forward to working with your child and enjoying a successful school year.
My name is Colleen Monastra. I am a paraprofessional working at Olmsted Falls Middle School. I primarily work with students with Miss Papa as a case manager. I live in North Ridgeville with my husband Jim and daughter Olivia (7). I enjoy reading and spending time with my family and friends. I have also recently become a volunteer for the amazing community organization Lifebanc. I have a degree in Early Childhood from Cleveland State University. I taught preschool in Parm, OH for 17 years before becoming a paraprofessional at OFMS. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with your children.
My name is Nicole Sherman. I primarily work with students with Miss Papa as a case manager. I am very excited to join the middle school staff. Last year, I worked at the ECC and I have also worked at OFIS. I reside in Olmsted Falls with my husband, Jeremy, and my two children, Madison(9th grade) and Caleb(6th grade) and my dog Ringo. You can often find me on the sidelines of one of my sons sporting events or on the volleyball court at Razzles. I also am looking forward to seeing my daughter in the marching band this year. I enjoy cooking, reading and playing sports. It will be great to work at OFMS with all of the students.
My name is Angela Fanara. I am a paraprofessional at OFMS primarily working with students in Mrs. Ware and Mrs. Thomas' classrooms. I live in Olmsted Falls and have two children named Hanna and Joey. Both of my kids attend Olmsted Falls High School. I love to cook, workout and relax. My most favorite thing to eat is pizza! I am looking forward to another great year at OFMS.
My name is Erin Chapman. I am a paraprofessional at OFMS. I don't not currently work in the resource room, but will be a bus aide assisting some students that need extra help. My husband and myself are both graduates from OFHS. We have a son who is in third grade at Falls-Lenox. I have two dogs, Chance who is a 6 year old Akita mix, and Sprocket who is a two year old dachshund. I love finding old pieces of furniture and refinishing them into fun and functional pieces for our home. I also enjoy DIY projects and being in the kitchen. Prior to working in the middle school, I was a school bus driver for Olmsted Falls for 3 years.
